Musa Mseleku's fourth wife Mbali MaNgwabe Mseleku, has made it clear that she will not stay in her marriage should Mseleku continue addressing the wife number 5' issue.

Mbali said this is something that they talked about when Mseleku proposed marriage to her.

Lucky for her, even her mother supported her statements and said Mseleku had promised that Mbali would be the last wife.

When Season 6 of Uthando Nes'thembu debuted on Thursday 6 October, Mbali said in her introduction video,

I was not sure about going into a polygamous marriage but love overtook me. Indeed marriage calls you to persevere but if it were to happen that he takes another wife, because of the agreement we had, I would leave .

The patriarch was visibly unimpressed with this and told MaCele that he does not want to force anyone to stay.

When MaCele asked Mseleku what he meant when he said those who want to leave must leave, we will soldier on', Musa said he was born alone.

The first wife said because of his statement, even if she was not going to leave him, she may just leave.

I WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED' MSELEKU ON WIFE NO 5 I am simply saying I am not afraid of anything. I am waiting for anything. I will not be controlled. If anyone wants to leave, I will not stand in their way.

Seeing how upset this was making him, Busisiwe then came to his defence and said whatever happens, she does not want any of the wives to leave.

A person should leave because she could not get it right with you not because of another wife being brought into the fold

She then added that if the wives refuse, to me it shows that he hasn't treated them well enough to the level where they'd agree to anything .

Implying that he treats all his well, Mseleku said the only thing that makes them fight is the wife number 5 issue.

MaCele then asked him what is so difficult that a wife would want to leave in the introduction of another?

Mseleku seemingly agreeing with her, immediately realised what he needed to do to get all the wives on the same page when it comes to number 5.
