Elf on the Shelf Parent Company Launches Scout Elf Productions The newest division of CCA and B debuts first animated special during this holiday season on network television

Atlanta - Along with baking cookies, trimming the Christmas tree and welcoming Scout Elves back home during Scout Elf Return Week , gathering together to watch holiday programming is an age-old family tradition. Creatively Classic Activities and Books (CCA and B, LLC), home of the best-selling Christmas tradition The Elf on the Shelf , is proud to announce the formation of Scout Elf Productions , a new subsidiary dedicated to producing entertainment-based content for both the large and small screen.

Scout Elf Productions inaugural animated film Elf Pets: Santas St. Bernards Save Christmas gives families a glimpse at the magic of Santas North Pole and the fun their Scout Elves and friends have during the holiday season. With messages of kindness, generosity, faith, hope and love, this story and the forthcoming ones are sure to become treasured parts of families Christmas viewing traditions.

Co-CEO and Co-founder of CCA and B, LLC Chanda Bell spearheaded the creative production of Elf Pets: Santas St. Bernards Save Christmas, gathering inspiration from her own family Christmas memories and historical research. An old news article about a historic Saint Bernard rescue dog named Barry and a subsequent research trip to Switzerland influenced the previous storybook Elf Pets: A St. Bernard Tradition. As the writer/director of the newest animated tale, Bell revisits these fuzzy-faced characters - the Saint Bernards - to weave a modern-day fairy tale for Santa Claus to reveal how Elf Pets pups, Scout Elves and a big-hearted family can make the world a better place. In fact, all of them will have to work together to restore Christmas Spirit when Santa discovers theres not enough of it for him to make Christmas magical.

Our expansion with Scout Elf Productions represents yet another way that we can deliver Christmas magic to kids and bring families together, said Chanda Bell, executive producer of Scout Elf Productions . By tapping into childrens imaginations, this special unveils how their generosity and acts of kindness can help others as well as Santa Claus. Elf Pets: Santas St. Bernards Save Christmas will debut stateside on Turner Broadcasting Systems TBS channel at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17th, bringing a new family favorite to TBSs diverse line-up of Christmas programming. The film will also be shown on Cartoon Network at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 3rd. Check your local listings for additional air dates and times.

In addition to its TBS and Cartoon Network airings, the Elf Pets: Santas St. Bernards Save Christmas DVD is available for purchase at retailers nationwide, on The Elf on the Shelf website for $9.95. The disc includes the 26:48 animated special, trailer, sing-along version and filmmakers commentary. The special also debuted on the large screen to a private audience of media and influencers in the UK and is set to air on television in Canada later in the season.
