IBC 2020 cancelado debido a la pandemia mundial de COVID-19 El evento hubiera tener lugar en el RAI de Amsterdam entre el 11 y el 14 de septiembre. Su CEO, Michael Crimp, asegura que IBC continuar apoyando a la industria para que vuelva a encarrilarse .
IBC 2020 ha sido cancelado debido a la preocupaci n por la seguridad de los expositores y los asistentes y por la capacidad de ofrecer un evento de la calidad esperada en plena pandemia de coronavirus COVID-19.
IBC 2020 deb a tener lugar del 11 al 14 de septiembre en msterdam, pero con muchos pa ses de Europa todav a en confinamiento, el director ejecutivo del IBC, Michael Crimp, ha asegurado que hab a muchas inc gnitas .
Como resultado, Crimp ha afirmado que no ser a posible garantizar que el IBC pudiera ofrecer un evento seguro y valioso con la calidad que se espera de una cita como la gran feria europea del sector .
Y aunque la decisi n ha sido enormemente decepcionante , el CEO de IBC ha subrayado que esta decisi n es lo mejor para la industria broadcast .
Crimp reconoce que aunque el equipo de IBC se ha centrado en la evaluaci n y el desarrollo de planes apropiados para desarrollar la feria este septiembre en el RAI de Amsterdam, resulta crucial que IBC pudiera ofrecer un entorno seguro y exitoso. Sin embargo, a medida que los gobiernos anuncian sus hojas de ruta de desescalada, se ha hecho evidente que es poco probable que se logre un retorno a la (nueva) normalidad para septiembre .
Una decisi n temprana es preferible para que la industria pueda planificar el futuro , ha a adido.
Los elementos importantes de un evento a gran escala como es IBC se ver an muy alterados por el distanciamiento social, las restricciones de viaje, el uso de mascarillas tanto que el esp ritu de IBC se ver comprometido , destaca el CEO.
Aunque esto es muy decepcionante para todos nosotros, IBC seguir desempe ando un papel vital en el apoyo a la industria para volver a encarrilarnos donde podamos , sentencia.
