IP-Only selects Net Insight to offer Live remote production over IP

Stockholm, Sweden, IBC 2017 (stand #1.B40) - Net Insight,the leading providerin live streaming, media transport and resource scheduling, today announces that Swedish infrastructure and service provider IP-Only will deploy live remote production and contribution services over their IP infrastructure with solutions from Net Insight.

IP-Only, a leading fiber network provider operating an IP-based fiber network interconnecting all major cities in the Nordic countries, selected Net Insight to build a managed live remote production service over their IP infrastructure. The end-customer will use the remote production service from IP-Only for producing live content from remote broadcast studios across Sweden at their central production facility in Stockholm.

Net Insight is providing it s Nimbra Media Gateway, an IP based contribution gateway for high-quality media transport. The Nimbra Media Gateway features a low-latency JPEG2000 codec for live media contribution from remote venues over IP infrastructures. Together with the Nimbra Vision SDN controller, the Net Insight solution offers software defined orchestration and workflow automation, for customer self-management and additional operational cost savings.
