Amazon to Serve as Exclusive Launch Home of MLS Original Series Cup Dreams on May 14

Major League Soccer has announced four original content series timed to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Cup Dreams premiering exclusively on Amazon Video on May 14. The series will span 40 stories and generate more than 400 pieces of content distributed across Amazon, Apple TV, FOX, and Tubi, with additional partners to be announced. MLS expects a record number of more than 40 players to represent their countries in the tournament.

Original Series

Cup Dreams: Premieres May 14 exclusively on Amazon Video (Echo Show devices, Fire TV, and Prime Video), with additional distribution to follow Amazon's exclusive window.

Cup Reflections: An 11-episode docuseries featuring players unboxing mementos and reflecting on their journeys. Available on Apple TV, Alexa Devices, Fire TV, Prime Video, Tubi, FOX, and MLS-owned channels, with short-form content through soccer social channel 433.

National Anthems: A nine-episode series profiling national team identity and culture through the perspectives of MLS players and their supporters. Available on Apple TV, Fire TV, Prime Video, Tubi, FOX, and MLS-owned channels. Premieres in May and runs through the tournament.

Breakaway presented by AT&T: An eight-episode behind-the-scenes series in its fourth season, covering players preparing for the tournament. Available on Fire TV, Prime Video, Tubi, FOX, and MLS-owned platforms beginning in May and continuing through the tournament and the return of the MLS season.

Featured players include Inter Miami's Lionel Messi, LAFC forward Son Heung-Min, NYCFC's Matt Freese, Inter Miami's Dayne St. Clair, Minnesota United's James Rodr guez, and Atlanta United's Miguel Almiron, among others.

MLS will also appear in more than a dozen soccer documentary projects premiering throughout 2026 across streaming, social, and linear television, with content featuring MLS footage appearing in productions by 10 official international tournament rights holders. All MLS matches and original programming are available on Apple TV.
