Campaign Producer / Director

Manage the creative and administrative aspects of the pre-production, production and post-production phases, Conceptualize and produce stories, Direct on shoots and follow through in post-production, Ensure that stories are produced monthly and in line with campaign requirements, broadcast specs and of a high standard

Establish and maintain good relationships with all parties

Research and compile lists of potential stories to produce

Make contact with relevant parties before, during and after delivery of content

Communicate all requirements of the story to interviewee and all other parties prior to departing on production

Collaborate with the camera operator while shooting the story

Creatively and technically make sure the story makes sense and have covered all aspects of the storyboard while on production

Responsible for quality control of the insert i.e.: making sure the flow of the story makes sense

Compile off-line edits and working with the editor to achieve best possible package as well as write scripts when required

Continuously keep in mind the delivery requirements and the a certain number of inserts to deliver every month

Requirements:

Knowledge of Final Cut Pro editing software

Degree in journalism or film and media studies

A minimum of 3-years work experience in a television production environment

Confident, responsible and accountable

Excellent planning and organizing ability

Outstanding problem solving ability

Ability to lead and control projects from inception to delivery process

Passionate about producing exceptional broadcast quality work

Ability to take instruction as well as give feedback

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent Communication Skills - written/verbal

Work in a team environment, be pro-active and able to multi-task

willingness to travel and work irregular hours when necessary

Code 8 Drivers License
