Sorenson Media Will Join & Support New Partner Sony Creative Services at Sony Event

Company Will Host Private Mixer at Its Wynn Hotel Suite

SAN DIEGO (March 19, 2013)Sorenson Media today announced that the company will actively participate in the 2013 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, demonstrating the company's full suite of video encoding solutions throughout the event and meeting with existing and prospective customers and partners. This year, the company will meet by appointment only at the Wynn Hotel to demo a major new product it will launch at the show, as well as its full product portfolio. The company also will host a Mixer at its Wynn Hotel suite at 4 pm on Wednesday, April 10th.

In addition, the company will join and support its new partner, Sony Creative Software, at The Sony Creative Software Event on Monday, April 8th from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room N250 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Sorenson Media will demo its full suite of award-winning video workflow solutions in its suite at the show, including: (i) Squeeze Server the company's enterprise transcoding platform that can be deployed on-premise, in the cloud, or as a hybrid of both and that won the most recent Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards for Best Enterprise Transcoding Software and Best Cloud Encoding/Transcoding Solution; (ii) Sorenson Squeeze (Standard, Pro & Premium) the gold-standard desktop encoding and transcoding application that won the most recent Streaming Media Readers' Choice Award for Best Desktop Encoding Software, and (iii) Sorenson 360 the company's innovative and differentiated online video platform (OVP). Sorenson Media will also meet with companies interested in licensing Sorenson Spark, the world's most ubiquitous video codec, which optimizes the mobile and connected TV viewing experience.
