As companies around the world gear up to enter this year's tve Global Sustainability Film Awards in association with Fastflow Group, viewers across the UK will have a chance to see the 2016 Awards by tuning into London Live tomorrow, Friday 12 May, at 0600 GMT.
With winners including L'Oreal, HSBC and Electrolux, the 45-minute programme features a sparkling line-up of films focusing on corporate commitment to sustainability and innovation. The creativity was incredible,' Fastflow CEO Neil Armstrong told the audience at BAFTA, venue for the Awards ceremony. The films are so varied, so colourful and so deeply moving that we really should hand out prizes to all.'

The programme, Films inspiring change', has been produced by Free@LastTV and tve. Students from the television and journalism courses at London's University of Westminster were involved in all aspects of the production including pre-planning, rigging, filming and post-production.

The tve Global Sustainability Film Awards, now in its sixth year, is a film competition for companies and institutions, acknowledging filmmakers whose films most eloquently and powerfully portray solutions for sustainability. The award-winning films from 2016 include entries from HSBC, Electrolux and Essilor International. For the second year running the competition focuses on the UN Sustainable Development Goals which set ambitious targets for world development: eradicating poverty and hunger; ensuring good health, quality education and gender equality; and setting targets for affordable and clean energy, climate action and responsible consumption and production.
