Television Marketing Executive

Manage Media and VIP invitations, guest lists and management at all events and programming initiatives, General communication with both viewers and on air personalities, Assist with the implementation and planning of external events, external newsletters, social media and customer engagement activities, Liaise with Agencies & Production houses to ensure campaigns are rolled out as per plans

Archive and maintain photographic and video library of all events

Ensure good relationship management with external marketing suppliers

Ensure good relationship management with customers, staff and vendors as required

Ensure the accurate and timely compilation and publication of monthly marketing and media reports

Ownership and management of the marketing storeroom and marketing collateral

Project manage by ensuring that agencies have the correct information and information is supplied timeously

Ensure that content (visuals and materials) are received on time, requirements have been established and formatting meets agency requirements to deliver on time

Degree in branding or marketing (or Diploma equivalent)

1-2 years as Marketing Assistant

1-2 years in similar role

Knowledge and experience of consumer behavior and marketing

Knowledge of the youth market

Knowledge of the South African TV market

Computer literacy -Windows, MS Office packages

Good negotiation skills

Ability to critically evaluate esthetics and creative layouts

Ability to build strong supplier relationships

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good co-ordination and administrative skills

Attention to detail

Action oriented

Creativity

Priority setting

Must be willing to travel

Normal working hours, however may at time be required to work late
