Popular Star Vs Food Malaysia returns for Season 2 on 19 February

Astro customers can look forward to Star Vs Food Malaysia 2, an award-winning local cooking reality show co-produced by Astro and Warner Bros. Discovery, premiering on 19 February on TV via PRIMEtime (Ch 704) and Astro GO.

The first season of Star Vs Food Malaysia was the Grand Final winner for Best Adaptation of an Existing Format at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2022. This localised cooking reality show is based on an original Warner Bros. Discovery format, Star Vs Food, which enjoyed its own success in India. In season 1 of Star Vs Food Malaysia, fans enjoyed a unique cooking show concept where celebrities explored and learnt recipes by chefs in simple and interesting ways including one of the most watched episodes where Chef Fazley Yaakob brought on the heat as actor Hisham Hamid fought his way to prepare delicious Malaysian cuisine of Daging Salai Lemak Masak Cili Api, Sambal Hijau and Jagung Bakar Macarons.

Star Vs Food Malaysia 2 will feature more prominent Malaysian celebrities paired with professional chefs: Nabil Ahmad and Chef Fikree Aznan; Prof. Dato Chef Zam and Ning Baizura; Chef Raymond Tham and Amelia Henderson; Altimet and Chef Thevi; Awal Ashaari, Scha Alyahya and Anis Nabila; Chef Nik Michael and Dato Jovian Mandagie; and Chef Edwin Chan and Diana Danielle over the 7 episodes. The pairs will prepare dishes from a new cuisine every episode including Arabic, Fusion, Italian, Western, Hi-Tea, Surf and Turf and more, while traveling across various cities nationwide.

New episodes of Star Vs Food Malaysia 2 premiere at 12pm every Sunday on PRIMEtime (Ch 704) with an encore on the same day at 7.30pm. Customers can stream Star Vs Food Malaysia 2 via On Demand and Astro GO.
