The reception and distribution of satellite households SAT IP advances SAT IP es el nuevo protocolo que traduce' las se ales de TV desde el sat lite y las convierte directamente en se ales aptas para su visi n en multidisposivos del hogar.
El sat lite se adapta a las necesidades de un nuevo telespectador, m s exigente y con unos h bitos distintos a la hora de disfrutar de los contenidos, y a un nuevo entorno tecnol gico en el que los dispositivos se han multiplicado.
Por ello, SES ha desarrollado SAT IP, un nuevo protocolo de comunicaci n que, de manera efectiva, traduce' las se ales de televisi n desde el sat lite y las convierte directamente en se ales aptas para que se reciban simult neamente distintos programas del sat lite en distintos dispositivos del hogar (TV,PC, M vil, Tableta .), sin que sea necesaria una conexi n a internet para ello, por lo que la falta de este acceso no es problema para su distribuci n en casa. Adem s, SAT IP permite la recepci n de televisi n de ltima generaci n v a sat lite en dispositivos que no cuentan con un receptor de sat lite integrado.
Seg n destac Miguel Pingarr n, director de desarrollo de negocio de SES Astra Ib rica, en las jornadas Broadcast IT Experience celebradas en Madrid la pasada semana, la creaci n de este nuevo ecosistema implica ventajas tanto para los radiodifusores/plataformas de televisi n, como para los fabricantes, ya que, seg n ha explicado, SAT IP crea una plataforma que traer nuevos productos al mercado. SAT IP ofrece a radiodifusores y desarrolladores de servicios soluciones multi-pantalla nuevas y, sobre todo, simples. Por otro lado, el sat lite ser la mejor opci n para la distribuci n de contenidos a grandes audiencias, sobre todo retransmisiones en vivo, con el menor coste t cnico y econ mico. SAT IP es parte de esta tendencia, y traslada una multiplicidad de posibilidades a todo el hogar .
Para el directivo, el futuro del audiovisual pasar por soluciones h bridas en las que cada tecnolog a aporte sus ventajas. Nos dirigimos por tanto hacia un ecosistema en el que el sat lite, el cable, Internet o la tecnolog a terrestre habr n de unir fuerzas. Pingarr n considera que con este tipo de soluciones, el sat lite da un paso m s para consolidarse como la tecnolog a del futuro para la distribuci n y recepci n de la se al de televisi n. Los espectadores van a demandar una mejora en la calidad de la imagen y del sonido. El sat lite es un medio de difusi n ideal para acomodar esta demanda de mayor calidad por los usuarios. La Ultra Alta Definici n estar en dos o tres a os entre nosotros y aportar no solo una resoluci n diecis is veces superior a la resoluci n de la televisi n digital convencional, sino que implicar unos matices de color, brillo y sonido que significar n una experiencia de usuario pr xima al cine .
