The TRIC Awards have been running since 1969 at Grosvenor House in London, and recognise the great talent across radio and television. There are 16 awards across radio and television, with the modern addition of digital and satellite productions.
The Awards are voted for by the members of TRIC, drawn from the communication, entertainment, manufacturing, warranty insurance and service sectors from programme makers and broadcasters to radio producers and makers.
Arqiva have supported the Awards for many years, and this year sponsored the Digital Radio Personality of the Year which was received by Emma Bunton from Heart, who fought of competition from Capital's Dave Berry and Radio 2's Simon Mayo to pick up the award.
The other big winners were Holly Willoughby who picked up three awards in total, including TV Personality of the Year, and Eastenders won TV Soap of the Year.
