Redseven Entertainment continues expansion with opening of new Berlin office
Munich/Berlin, September 23, 2019. Redseven Entertainment, a Red Arrow Studios
company, has opened an office in Berlin, as the company continues to expand its production
capabilities in Germany.
The new Berlin office is the third location for the company, following its Munich and Cologne
hubs. The new office will have a remit to develop and produce a broad range of content, with
a focus on high-quality TV and digital content, as well as Redseven's expanding corporate TV
activities.
Experienced producer and broadcasting executive Benedikt Nordmann has been named the
Executive Producer in charge of the office in Berlin. Most recently Benedikt was Head of
Comedy & Light Entertainment and Executive Producer at German network ProSieben,
responsible for successful shows such as Das Duell um die Welt, Late Night Berlin and
jerks. .
One of the Berlin office's first projects is the production of the International Music Awards (IMA).
Founded by Axel Springer Media House Berlin and Rolling Stone Germany, the awards honor
artists who promote awareness of issues such as diversity, understanding of democracy and
sustainability. The first IMA awards ceremony will take place on November 22nd, 2019 in
Berlins Verti Music Hall and will be broadcast as an online live stream.
Jobst Benthues, CEO of Redseven Entertainment, said: Opening an office in Berlin gives
us access to new ideas and networks within the Berlin creative scene, and enables us to
establish ourselves there as key partner for video content. We'll also be well positioned in
terms of our flexibility and breadth - including more physical space, but also the range of

factual content, as well as digital content and expanding our corporate TV activities. Producing
the forthcoming International Music Awards is an important first-step for our Berlin operation,
and we are delighted that Benedikt Nordmann is taking over the management of the office. He
brings a wealth of experience in the development and production of content, and is a great
addition to the Redseven team.

from working on many joint projects together. Its great to add this new chapter to our
collaboration with the establishment of Redseven Berlin. There are so many innovative and
creative TV makers here with whom we can now work much more closely. It is a unique
opportunity to establish this location and to make Redseven a permanent production location
in the capital.
Redseven Entertainment develops and produces innovative shows for the German and
international TV markets, with a focus on comedy, clip shows, docutainment, magazine shows
and corporate media. Key shows include Germany's Next Top Model for ProSieben, The
Taste and Married at First Sight for SAT.1, and Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds for VOX.
The company is one of the ten most successful German production companies in the
entertainment sector and celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2018. Redseven is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Red Arrow Studios, the content and distribution division of ProSiebenSat.1 Media
SE.
