NAB 2026: Appear to Showcase Live Production Processing

Appear ASA will exhibit at NAB Show 2026 (Booth W1531, April 19-22, Las Vegas). The company completed an IPO in November 2025.

NAB Demonstrations

Appear will highlight three use cases at its booth:

1. Satellite-to-IP migration The Appear X Platform, a media processing and gateway platform, supports satellite-to-IP migration. A recent NBCUniversal deployment delivered a 200% density increase at edge sites while enabling IP- and cloud-connected workflows.

2. REMI and distributed production Appear's technology supports acquisition, contribution, and distribution of video content across AVC/HEVC and JPEG XS workflows for REMI and distributed production environments.

3. Edge-to-cloud workflows Appear will demonstrate live production workflows running across hardware, software, and cloud resources, combining deterministic performance with cloud elasticity.

Appear will also showcase VX Media Gateway, a cloud-ready, API-driven software platform designed to extend media transport and processing into data center and cloud environments alongside the X Platform.

Appear comes to NAB Show 2026 in the middle of a period of sustained growth, particularly in the North American region, says Ed McGivern, President and General Manager, Appear US.
