Legrand | AV has launched a new broadcast and advanced systems console from LundHalsey for the North American market. The x-Type console is available with standard part numbers for faster lead times than anyone in the industry to quickly equip broadcast and mission critical systems. Legrand | AV is the exclusive partner in North America to sell LundHalsey solutions.
We've always had a traditional custom design type of broadcast console, but eh market wanted a standardized product that is more durable, expandable and sit-stand ready, said Gordon Wason, National Solutions Manager for broadcast and advanced systems at Legrand | AV.
The console can be used in several different vertical markets in addition to broadcast like advanced system control, sports and live venue, and esports.
The modular system comes in different sizes and includes removeable desktop rack mounting units (turrets or pods), cable management and rack mounting below the worksurface, and comes in fixed or electric height adjustable. If customers change their mind, you can easily retrofit electric height adjustability to fixed consoles.
This sits beside Visionline as our volume-oriented, easy-button broadcast console solution, said David Albright, Business Development Manager. This is the good, value-oriented, quick-ship solution in the line.
The compact laminate worksurface top is a unique material that is scratch resistant, chemical proof, stain free, and antimicrobial. The panels and worksurface come with a 10-year warranty.

Coming on board with Legrand has been about bringing our aesthetics and award-winning design to North America.
x-Type is also designed to ISO 11064, the international ergonomic standard for control room design.
