ESPN ha seleccionado las tecnolog as de producci n Grass Valley para equipar sus nuevas instalaciones HD Digital Center 2 en Bristol (Connecticut, EE.UU.) que se espera est n concluidas en la primavera de 2014. ESPN y Grass Valley mantienen una larga relaci n de m s de tres d cadas.
Grass Valley suministrar ahora a ESPN tres sistemas de producci n automatizada de Ignite y tres centros de producci n de Kayenne con servidores K2 Summit 3G. Adem s, entregar un total de 40 c maras LDX WorldCam que sustituir n a los modelos actuales de la serie LDK en las instalaciones Digital Center 1 de ESPN. Un cuarto sistema Ignite tambi n ha sido adquirido por la Network SEC (Southeastern Conference) con emisi n deportiva 24/7.

Con casi 18.000 metros cuadrados de instalaciones, el nuevo HD Digital Center 2 en Bristol suministrar la programaci n para el canal HD de ESPN, que est disponible para los sistemas de televisi n por cable y v a sat lite en todo Estados Unidos.
