SCISYS and Technica Del Arte today announced integration between the dira! system for media management, content creation and playout and the LUCI platform for audio and video broadcasting over IP

The integration will enable field reporters to send recordings and metadata from any LUCI application, be it on mobile devices or on a desktop PC, directly to the new dira! Upload System which quickly transfers the material into the station's production and playout system if desired, combined with other multimedia content.

For more than two decades, Media Broadcasting Solutions by SCISYS have proven to be extremely reliable, clever and easy to use throughout the whole production chain. Recently, the product line was extended by the dira! Upload System which has been developed by a team of IT experts from SCISYS and academia. Oliver Alsbach, leading software architect and head of Research & Development at SCISYS, points out: Our system comprises modern web clients and a mobile app to transfer multimedia material from anywhere to the stations' production system. It is fast, easy and secure and simply meets the needs of mobile radio professionals. This is a system field reporters won t want to work without. With the new integration, user will be able not only to send recordings from LUCI Live to our Upload App, but also from any LUCI application to our Upload Server from which the material is forwarded directly into the station's content management system.

In combination with the widely used LUCI platform by Technica Del Arte, this ensures optimal workflows for modern and fast-paced radio productions.
