The #HEROSessionChallenge has come to a close,

but the legend of the camera lives on!

We dared you to take the HERO Session with you on your summer adventures and put it to the test. You got creative, muddy and inverted. We are impressed.

There was no way to select one winner, so we have first, second and third place legends to award, all of whom shared exemplary content using their HERO Sessions. The prizes are no joke - a value of over $1,200!

First Place: Tanya Vanthuyne - @Vanthuynee

Tanya is walking away with her very own GoPro Award (we're talking a $500 cash prize for this photo)! She is also about to receive one of the greatest accomplishments there is here at GoPro, being featured as our Photo of the Day, congrats @Vanthuynee! This photo accomplishes everything you might want from a HERO Session; capturing precious moments with your babe, in the water, without missing a beat! She tested out the durability of her camera and came out of this challenge with photos like this

Second Place: Chris Biovana - @cjbivo

Chris takes incredible GoPro landscape photos of his home of Vail, CO, case and point; his 2nd place photo. He grabbed his buddies and his GoPro and took us up on our challenge. Chris proved that his HERO Session can withstand the intensity of a rugged whitewater rafting adventure. Best part? No waterproof housing needed and all it takes is a simple, one button camera that's durable enough to take on the Colorado River. Great work Chris - you're walking away with buckets of GoPro swag (up to a whomping $500 in gear)!

Third Place: Eleni Mikou - @eleni_ralph_sylvie

Eleni may have perfectly captured the cutest and drooliest photo submitted to the #HEROSessionChallenge. Ralph the boxer is no stranger to his GoPro, Eleni always manages to capture him getting sandy on the beach and tossing her adorable faces. The HERO Session was built to handle Ralph's drool and curiosity! Eleni and Ralph won a you call it experience on GoPro.com. They're picking out whatever swag they want! (up to $200).
