Join Us at AES 2020 Fall Show

The physical AES Show, which is usually taking place in New York in October has been converted to a dedicated online event that virtually turns October into an entire month of Audio Enginering. We have a special stake in the AoIP Summit on October 13th.

Obviously, it is the global Covid-19 pandemic that keeps causing physical tradeshows to be cancelled. But fortunately, a lot of the shows manage to establish online alternatives that is even more flexible in terms of live video streams of workshops and sessions, but also video on demand if you prefer to watch them later - perhaps because youre in a different timezone. In short, it actually makes it possible for even more people to attend the events.

So, with this in mind we have decided to support several of these online events - and not least the traditional AES Show that has played such an important part in helping passionate audio engineers connect and learn from each other.

At the AES 2020 Fall Show, our Business Development Manager, Jan Lykke, will present as the first speaker after the introduction and initial panel debate on October 13th - the day of the AoIP Summit. This is indeed a full day event with sessions, workshops and debates from 9 am to 7 pm with a new presenter every hour on the hour.

The NTP AoIP Session

Jan Lykke has had a focus on the transition to AoIP in both the pro audio and broadcast industries over the past seven years. This includes designing AoIP solutions ranging from small music studios to large-scale post-production and broadcast facilities.

In this presentation, Jan will look at the pros and cons and challenges of transitioning to an AoIP solution. The term pro audio industry covers a wide range of users, from small music studios to large-scale post-production facilities, and we will cover the benefits and challenges for these different types of users, backed up by real case stories.
