Anoki and Amagi Bring Scene-Level Intelligence to In-Content CTV Ads

Anoki and Amagi have launched In-Scene Ads powered by Anoki ContextIQ across Amagi's portfolio of in-content ad formats for Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST). The offering integrates Anoki's ContextIQ multimodal AI platform with Amagi's Thunderstorm server-side ad insertion (SSAI) solution. It is initially available across Amagi-powered FAST channels and streaming apps.

Dentsu is the first agency partner to use ContextIQ In-Scene Ads, across its three media brands: Carat, dentsu X, and iProspect.

The partnership between Anoki and Amagi first introduced scene-level contextual targeting to FAST in 2024. The new offering includes squeeze backs, overlays, and picture-in-picture ads enriched with ContextIQ for scene, sentiment, and brand suitability analysis. Brands can add QR codes for direct response, and advertisers can use Anoki's CreativeAI to generate versions of these formats tailored for specific markets or messaging.
