Comedian Neil Delamere tonight became the second celebrity to be sent home from series 5 of Dancing with the Stars.
Neil had danced a cha-cha-cha, scoring 18 points from the judges, and when pooled with the public vote, it wasn't enough for Neil and partner Kylee Vincent to continue on their dancing journey as movie week came to a close.
11 celebrities took to the floor tonight for week four of Dancing with the Stars, bringing viewers through a variety of dance styles performed to well-known movie tracks from down through the years. Presented by Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne, judges Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond, and Arthur Gourlinian were also on hand to score each performance throughout the evening.
First to perform was Love Island star Matthew MacNabb & Laura Nolan, who danced the foxtrot to You Got A Friend in Me from Toy Story.
Loraine told Matthew You definitely have a friend in me tonight, and that is because I'm impressed! .
Arthur said: You brought life to this dance tonight, while Brian added: Your dancing for the last few weeks has been pretty wooden, here you are dressed as Woody, finally moving with a bit of fluidity.
Matthew and Laura scored from 17 the judges.
She topped the leaderboard last week, and jockey Nina Carberry & partner Pasquale La Rocca returned tonight with a tango to U2's Elevation from Tomb Raider.
Arthur said: Is there anything you can't do, seriously? Another amazing night for our Nina.
Brian said: Good characterisation, it didn't overtake the dancing, I loved that.
Loraine said: I felt the tango became too in, too compact. For me it was just a little bit empty.
Nina and Pasquale scored from 19 the judges.
The Little Mermaid's Under the Sea was the music for champion athlete Ellen Keane and Stephen Vincent's samba.
Brian said: Well this little Mermaid certainly made a samba splash this evening.
Loraine said: That was a loaded samba everything was there, you did a really good job.
Arthur said: That samba was delicious you were floating tonight.
-Ellen and Stephen scored 22 points from the judges.
Aslan star Billy McGuinness returned to the floor with partner Hannah Kelly for their paso doble to Journey's Any Way You Want It from Rock of Ages.
Loraine said: I know you are working hard, but we need more characterisation now.
Arthur: You came on the dancefloor like a true rockstar. Overall, great entertainment.
Brian said: I think I would probably describe you as one of the most consistent dancers I've ever seen. Build that characterisation
-Billy and Hannah scored 14 points from the judges.
Next up was rugby player Jordan Conroy and partner Salome Chachua who took viewers to Madagasgar with a roaring cha-cha-cha to I Like to Move It.
Arthur said: You are a big ball of energy every single week.
Loraine said: It's playful, it's flamboyant, it's cheeky.
Brian said: Hips as wooden as that crate over there, but great showmanship again.
-Jordan and Salome scored 20 points.
Contemporary ballroom was the dance this evening for model Missy Keating and partner Ervinas Merfeldas, dancing to Running with the Wolves from hit Irish film, Wolfwalkers.
Brian said: A little bit still to do, but for me this evening, Wolfwalker moving up the leaderboard.
Loraine said: Beautifully danced and so in character.
Arthur said: Missy, this is what I'm talking about baby. It was mesmerizing, you are technically on point.
-Missy and Ervinas scored 24 from the judges.
Presenter Gr inne Seoige and partner John Nolan performed a rumba to the Bond classic, Shirley Bassey's Diamonds are Forever. Gr inne revealed she had picked up a quad injury.
Brian said: It's unfortunate that hip action was missing, just made it a little bit more cubic zirconia a little bit more polishing needed on that diamond.
Loraine said: My question is, is the injury stopping you from releasing the hips? That's what's missing here.
-Gr inne and John 13 scored points.
A cha-cha-cha to the classic Ghostbusters theme was performed by comedian Neil Delamere & his partner Kylee Vincent.
Arthur said: That was so much fun
Brian said: Well there's one thing strange in this neighbourhood and it's that hip action. A little bit more subtlety and you probably would be there.
Loraine said: I like it. You put yourself into it.
-Neil and Kylee scored 18 points from the judges.
Newsreader Aengus Mac Grianna embraced the spirit of Anchorman's Ron Burgundy, dancing a lively samba with partner Emily Barker to Tom Jones' Help Yourself.
Brian said: This show is all about embracing stuff that's outside of your comfort zone, I don't think the nation could ever have expected that.
Loraine said: I've no doubt you worked very very hard on that! It's not quite up there with the others.
Arthur said: Aengus, I could tell you were having the time of your life on that stage.
-Aengus and Emily scored 11 points.
Then it was the turn of Nicolas Roche and partner Karen Byrne, who performed an American smooth to Singin' in the Rain.
Loraine said: Well they say style lasts forever and I think this performance will stay with you forever.
Arthur said: Who are you, and what have you done with Nicolas? You are the definition of practice makes perfect.
Brian said: You are improving week on week.
Nicolas and Karen scored 19 points from the judges.
The final act to take to the stage tonight were Erica Cody and partner Denys Samson, with their lively charleston to When We're Human from The Princess and the Frog, a film Erica said was her favourite since she was a child.
Arthur said: Erica, this was so beautifully presented and not only for you, for every single girl and boy who will be inspired by you after that performance.
