Scout Adds Christos Mountzouros as Executive Producer

Bicoastal design studio Scout has added seasoned producer Christos Mountzouros as Executive Producer. Mountzouros brings nearly a decade of experience in production and post production, with a background spanning producing for motion graphics, interactive, VFX, animation and live action as well as representing talent for a number of top design, interactive, and animation companies. He previously led the design departments at both Method Studios and MPC and has also lent his talents to such shops as Nice Shoes, Digital Kitchen, Logan, Mass Market, and Curious Pictures. He has produced a myriad of intricate projects for such networks as HBO, CNN, IFC, and MTV and brands including Google, Levi's, Microsoft, MAC, Samsung, and GE.

Notes Mountzouros, I've loved getting to work in both design and visual effects for a variety of platforms, but design has always been my passion. I'm excited to lead this already incredibly creative team at Scout and focus on creating amazing, design-driven work.

Mountzouros studied Film and Video Production at Syracuse University's SI Newhouse School of Communications. His work on branded entertainment projects and on some of the most awarded main title sequences to date has been featured many times at the Sundance Film Festival and in such publications as Stash, Computer Arts, Post Magazine, and NY Magazine. Christos has a wide range of experience working alongside directors and artists and managing teams of artists on a wide range of projects from concept to completion, making him a welcomed addition to the Scout team. When not at work, Mountzouros is a musician, an avid cook and a lover of plants.
