Game Creek Video is onsite at Caesars Superdome with Encore and PrimeOne production trucks and a team of engineers, specialists, and project managers to ensure that all systems are go for FOX Sports' coverage of Super Bowl LIX.

We have 16 staff here [including myself] for the game, says Game Creek Video Technical Solutions Manager Matt Caron, as well as five engineers and a project manager for the studio side of FOX operations and three engineers working on the Tubi Red Carpet Show. It's quite a large presence onsite.

The Game Creek Video team is at Super Bowl LIX in force to support FOX Sports.

Game Creek Video's Encore and PrimeOne mobile units are at the center of most of the action, the former to produce the game and the latter producing pregame studio shows, which will generally originate from the intersection of Bourbon Street and St. Peter Street.

PrimeOne will take in all the feeds from the FOX BRISK flypack located at Bourbon Street and from the inside set and the game-day Fan Plaza set, Caron explains. This is a continuation of Encore's role for FOX all season: it did the regular season plus a Wildcard Playoff game, a divisional game, and the NFC Championship. The change here is, we added Edit 4 on the game side.

As usual with a show this size, the biggest challenge is making sure all the feeds get back and forth. We have a ton of paths to get everything back and forth, he says. You just need to make sure everything winds up in the right places.

The Game Creek Video presence extends beyond FOX. Its Columbia and a B unit are in the international compound for ESPN International's studio show.

This has been an all-season-long endeavor, notes Caron. We add a little bit every week during the season and then add a little more during the playoffs and the NFC Championship, where we can add PrimeOne. When we get here, we just need to do the integration with the other trucks, the integration with the FOX Jewel event kit, and the integration with Bourbon Street. It is very much a cumulative process.

At Caesars Superdome, the layout allows the compound to be on one level. Two years ago, when FOX broadcast Super Bowl LVII from State Farm Stadium in Arizona, the compound was two-tiered, with all the FOX facilities on top and the trucks a level below, basically lined up in a straight line alongside the space where the field was located before being slid into the stadium.

Being able to walk out of the truck and have space between trucks is a nice thing for everybody to manage, says Caron. It's easier to integrate just people, let alone the connectivity. You can send fiber to a lot of places, but being able to communicate, interact, understand what's going on and trying to manage those handoffs is just easier when everybody's in the same place.
