Clear-Com Returns to its Roots in Live Performance, Bringing Next Generation Intercom Technology to LDI 2021

Arcadia enhances Clear-Com's existing product offering for the live market

Clear-Com will be returning to LDI 2021 in Las Vegas this year, exhibiting on booth 2271 from November 19 - 21. As the leader in real-time communications with its roots in live performance, Clear-Com solutions can be found in some of the most iconic venues and the most exciting productions in Vegas and around the globe. Clear-Com is thrilled to be returning to the entertainment capital of the world to showcase the most advanced technology for any live event application.

A focus of Clear-Com's presence at LDI will be the company's latest IP wireless intercom release, the Arcadia Central Station. Visitors to the booth will be offered a hands-on experience and demo of the system, connected to FreeSpeak II and FreeSpeak Edge Digital Wireless systems.

Designed with input from Clear-Com's extensive global live sound user base, Arcadia represents the next evolution in partyline workflows, combining digital, analog and AoIP intercom technologies into a single integrated system. From the Broadway stage to a growing

community house of worship congregation to the largest and most complex live events, Arcadia is ideally suited to a wide variety of live applications, in part due to its flexible licensing-based model that allows for future expansion.

Arcadia provides general connectivity to a wide range of Clear-Com endpoints through a mixture of 2-wire and 4-wire audio ports, together with third-party Dante AoIP devices. A future update to Arcadia will bring HelixNet Digital Partyline interconnectivity to the system.

Additionally, it supports the full range of FreeSpeak digital wireless products, encompassing FreeSpeak II (1.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz) and FreeSpeak Edge (5 GHz).

FreeSpeak II is five-channel, full-duplex wireless intercom solution, ideal for large-scale complex designs that is the most prevalent wireless intercom the most popular wireless intercom in the live market. It has a particularly large presence in Las Vegas and has been the chosen communications solution in countless Cirque du Soleil productions, including O, Myst re, The Beatles LOVE, Blue Man Group, and many more.

The FreeSpeak Edge system takes advantage of the wide 5 GHz band for optimal performance in high multipath or reflective environments, and it provides best-in-class 12 kHz audio with ultra-low latency and an almost imperceptible noise floor.
