Ooyala Announces Changes to the Executive Team

Santa Clara, Calif. (November 8, 2016) - Ooyala, a Telstra Corporation subsidiary, today announced changes to its executive team as the company moves into the next period of growth and the global expansion of new lines of business. Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ramesh Srinivasan, will leave the company effective today. Issac Vaughn, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel for Ooyala, will serve as acting CEO while a global search is conducted.
Over the past ten months, Ramesh has led the company as it has integrated acquired teams and technologies, and established two major new lines of business in video advertising and media logistics that it is now bringing to the global marketplace. We thank Ramesh and wish him success in the next steps of his career, said Ooyala Chairman of the Board, Stephen Elop.
Mr Vaughn, who has been an integral part of the executive team at Ooyala for many years, is well positioned to lead the company in the interim and, with the support of the team, to continue to increase Ooyala's pace of innovation.
Issac has served on Ooyala's executive management team since 2012 and overseen the acquisitions of Videoplaza (Europe's leading video ad tech provider) and Nativ (top innovator in media logistics), and has built Ooyala's global network of strategic channel and global technology partners.
Prior to Ooyala, Mr Vaughn was the Managing Director of SC Investments Consulting, LLC (SC), an angel investment and consulting company, and a founding partner of Bennu Venture Group, a stage-agnostic venture capital firm. He was also a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the premier legal advisor to technology, life sciences, and other growth enterprises worldwide.
