Argosy adds extensive range of Canare patch panels, cable assemblies and connectors to its portfolio

Argosy, a leading international supplier of broadcast cables and infrastructure products, has announced that it has become one of pro audio and video manufacturer Canares distributors in the EMEA region, ensuring that Canare patch panels, cable assemblies and connectors are readily available to their broadcast and AV customers. Both companies will be exhibiting together on the Canare Europe stand during The Media Production Show (11-12 June, Olympia London, stand 620).

This partnership will support Argosy customers in their transition to IP production over SMPTE 2110 and to higher resolutions of 4K and beyond, with the help of Canares newly developed 12G products. Canare, a Japanese company, has a strong presence across Asia, and many of Argosys customers who undertake installation work within APAC are familiar with Canare's quality and reputation.

At the Media Production show, Argosy will exhibit SMPTE cables, video patchbays and BNC connectors on the Canare Europe stand (620). Visitors can also see how the Argosy catalogue supports the production environment, with a particular emphasis on harsh environment cable solutions, tactical fibre assemblies, deployable reels, multi-way coaxial cables and SMPTE camera assemblies, all of which are ideally suited to outside broadcast or studio applications.

Also on show, is a range of installation materials usually found in the tailboard of OB trucks or within a flyaway kits, including the Barnfind fibre transport system.
