We hope the conference will showcase the local area as well as bring an economic boost to the region. Our broadcasting colleagues from across Europe are already very impressed at what they have experienced and are looking forward to visiting Dundalk for a productive and informative conference this year. From surviving the economic recession in Ireland and Croatia to radical news-gathering approaches in Sweden, the 33rd annual CIRCOM conference promises to be one of the most challenging and fruitful yet.
Head of Creative Media at DkIT, Sarah McCann, said Co-hosting this conference with RT marks a huge milestone in the development of Creative Media as a core discipline area within DKIT and in our developing partnership with RT . We hope to continue this cross collaboration with our national broadcaster in other areas such as content and training initiatives and future professional practice course development and delivery .
