ALAMEDA, USA November 26, 2024 Clear-Com 's advanced intercom technology facilitated flawless backstage coordination and communication at the Padang Stage during the highly anticipated 2024 Singapore Airlines Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, held in September at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. CSP Productions, a Clear-Com Global Rental Group partner, deployed Clear-Com's Eclipse HX digital matrix, FreeSpeak II digital wireless intercom, and Encore analog systems to support performances by renowned international acts, including Lenny Kravitz, Kylie Minogue, One Republic, Thirty Seconds to Mars, BABYMONSTER, Disclosure, and Honne. BABYMONSTER's extensive setup highlighted the unique challenges of supporting K-POP acts. Known for their complex choreography and intricate staging, K-POP artists often depend on robust, wireless communications to ensure flawless synchronization across large teams.
With 30 FreeSpeak II wireless beltpacks running on both 1.9 and 2.4 GHz frequencies, Clear-Com's technology ensured seamless communication across stage management, follow-spot/Robo-Spot operators, and video teams. Clear-Com's Eclipse HX (EHX) system was quickly integrated with the tour's existing intercom for Thirty Seconds to Mars, allowing both systems to link within an hour and enable unified communications. This adaptability made it possible for CSP Productions to accommodate the unique needs of each act, adjusting configurations for various requirements and making last-minute changes with ease.
