WRAL.com Expands Voters' Choice Awards

It is time to vote for your favorite local businesses!

Due to the success of WRAL's Out & About Voters Choice Awards over the last two years, we have decided to expand our popular ballot contest to give North Carolina businesses, from the mountains to the coast, the chance to be recognized.

The new WRAL.com Voters' Choice Awards starts this fall with expanded categories and subcategories. You can nominate your favorite businesses from Oct. 16 through Nov. 8. On Nov. 13, we will be unveiling the official voting ballot.

So start thinking about the businesses you want to nominate. Look at last year's winners, but note that we want to keep the focus on local business and less large chain restaurants and businesses.
