The secretario de Estado de Cultura, Fernando Benzo, ha presentado este martes en la Comisi n de Cultura del Congreso los presupuestos de su departamento para 2018.
Unos presupuestos que consolidan un alza del 4,92%, porcentaje a n mayor que el percibido el a o anterior, y que se sit an en 569,15 millones de euros. Para Benzo, de estos presupuestos no hay que valorar nicamente sus cifras, ya que la pol tica cultural no puede ni debe monetizarse exclusivamente .
En su intervenci n, Fernando Benzo ha destacado algunas de las principales partidas y proyectos que se pondr n en marcha este a o. Entre ellas, destaca el incremento presupuestario que percibir la Direcci n General de Bellas Artes y Patrimonio Cultural, del 10,89%, equivalente a m s de 11 millones, por lo que esta direcci n recibir un total de 112,4 millones de euros. Un aumento importante al celebrar en este ejercicio el A o Europeo del Patrimonio Cultural.
Lucha antipirater aThe protecci n de la propiedad intelectual recoge un incremento presupuestario del 45,36% respecto a 2017. De hecho -ha se alado Benzo-, se introduce un nuevo y expreso subconcepto presupuestario: Refuerzo de medios y recursos de la Secci n Segunda de la Comisi n de Propiedad Intelectual, que cuenta con 600.000 euros .
Este refuerzo econ mico se unir a los ya realizados por el Ministerio en 2017, con 10 nuevos equipos inform ticos, un software especializado fruto de un acuerdo con LaLiga y el incremento de la plantilla con 6 nuevos funcionarios , ha informado el secretario de Estado.
El cine tambi n ha visto reforzado el apoyo del Gobierno con la rebaja del IVA de las entradas de cine al 10%, el incremento del Fondo de Protecci n a la Cinematograf a (que alcanza los 70,77 millones de euros) y el mantenimiento de los incentivos fiscales.
Fernando Benzo ha destacado, a su vez, la recuperaci n de ayudas que, debido a la situaci n econ mica de a os precedentes, tuvieron que suprimirse y que este a o volver n a convocarse, como son: las ayudas a la conservaci n del patrimonio cinematogr fico (dotadas con 300.000 euros) y las ayudas a la realizaci n de proyectos culturales y formaci n no reglada, que servir n para enriquecer el panorama audiovisual espa ol desde una perspectiva cultural.
Adem s, Filmoteca Espa ola aumentar en 260.000 euros los cr ditos para mantener su programaci n y actividades culturales y se destinar n 2,34 millones de euros, a actividades de promoci n y difusi n de la cinematograf a en el exterior.
El secretario de Estado ha informado tambi n que este a o se licitar el proyecto museol gico del Museo del Cine en el edificio del NO-DO, paso previo necesario para la realizaci n de las obras de adecuaci n.
