Belo Corp. picks AP ENPS for group-wide news production

Belo Corp. picks AP ENPS for group-wide news production Belo Corp.s 16 television, cable news operations and Washington DC Bureau are upgrading their news production systems to AP ENPS, giving their staffs integrated, industry-leading capabilities for getting local news on the air, the Web, mobile devices and social media.

ENPS will unite reporters, writers, editors and producers across all of Belo's news operations. When ENPS is fully installed, staff in any location will easily be able to collaborate and share stories and ideas with colleagues in Belo newsrooms nationwide. With smartphones, tablets or laptops, Belo staff outside of their newsrooms will use the AP ENPS Mobile application to write scripts and control other functions. Replacing paper, the Tablet Story Viewer will also allow anchors to read scripts electronically on the set.
