BACKEntertainment One Inks First Look Deal with Award Winning Duo Amy Ziering and Kirby Dicks Chain CameraLOS ANGELES December 5, 2018 Entertainment One (eOne) has entered into a two year, first-look deal for scripted and unscripted television programming with two-time Emmy Award winning and Academy Award nominated investigative documentary filmmaking duo Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick's Chain Camera. eOne will serve as the studio on all of the projects coming out of the partnership and will control worldwide rights.

Amy and Kirby are without a doubt two of the most important and well-respected filmmakers working in documentary film today. Together they have made films that have singlehandedly defined and transformed our culture and have an unmatched record of crafting thrilling and original investigative features that are, in their own right, cinematic tours de force, stated Peter Micelli, eOne's Chief Strategy Officer, Film & Television. Ziering and Dick are a two-time Emmy Award winning and two-time Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaking duo whose most recent film, THE BLEEDING EDGE, is critically acclaimed Netflix Original investigative feature that since premiering has rocked the medical industry. Their previous film, THE HUNTING GROUND, a monumental expos of sexual assault on college campuses, premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival was released by Radius and CNN, won the PGA Stanley Kramer Award, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, and won an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. Other credits include the Oscar nominated THE INVISIBLE WAR, which won the spirit Award for Best Documentary, two Emmys for Best Documentary Features and Outstanding Investigative Journalist Long Form, and a Peabody Award.

The duo also co-directed DERRIDA, a documentary about the world-renowned French philosopher. They are recipients of the Nestor Almendros Prize for Courage and Filmmaking, the Upton Sinclair Award, and the Ridenhour Documentary Film.

Dick also directed TWIST OF FAITH, the story of a man confronting the trauma of his past sexual abuse by a Catholic priest, which was also nominated for an Academy Award and THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED, a breakthrough investigation of the MPAA's secretive film ratings system

Ziering executive produced Kirsten Johnson's award winning and Oscar shortlisted CAMERAPERSON, Josh Fox's AWAKE - A Dream from Standing Rock, and received the 2013 PGA Gracie Award for Outstanding Producer.
