Gomora fans and stars Sicelo Buthelezi, Siphesihle Ndaba, Nandipha Khunoe, Ama Qamata, Connie Chiume, Leera Mthethwa who plays the characters of Teddy, Sibongile, Buhle, MamSonto, and Miss Hlongwane respectively have paid tribute to actor Siyabonga Zubane who plays the role as Sdumo in the telenovela.

Zubane is said to have committed suicide on Saturday 7 May.

MZANSI MAGIC CONFIRMS SIYABONGA ZUBANE'S PASSING Mzansi Magic has confirmed the passing of 23-year-old actor Siyabonga Zubane - who plays the character of a hijacker Sdumo in Gomora. His co-stars who play the characters of Mazet, Buhle, Sibongile, MamSonto, Miss Hlongwane, Buhle, and more actors have taken to social media to pay tribute to the rising star.

Actress Ama Qamata who plays the character of Buhle in the telenovela took to her Instagram story and posted a series of touching stories about her co-star.

Man, we are going to miss you Siya. What a talent.

Legendary actress Connie Chiume who plays a gangster MamSonto also paid tribute to the actor on her Instagram as well as Leera Mthethwa who plays the role of an educator Miss Hlogwane.

His first baby mama Kgothatso told Drum Magazine that she arrived in Soweto to find that Zubane had passed away.
