Big hits from Globos catalog will be broadcast in Sou Korea

Parts of Me' and Boogie Oogie' should air sometime this year for South Korean audience

Globo has just licensed two more of its hits for South Korean media group EPG. The group, which has been Globo's partner for a few years and has already aired super productions like Precious Pearl' (2014 International Emmy winner), Brazil Avenue,' and Merciless,' now bets on the sensitivity of Parts of Me' and on the disco charm of Boogie Oogie' to fascinate the country's audience. The telenovelas, which are scheduled to air in the second half of the year, are part of Globo's 2016 international catalog.

Parts of Me,' written by the same author of major hit The Life We Lead,' tells the story of Miguel (Domingos Montagner, Precious Pearl'), a lonely and slinky man, who after escaping a tragedy from the past, goes back home and has his life turned upside down. He finds out that, in addition to having a son with the great love of his life, he is also the father of six other children. So begins Miguel's search for his children's affection and respect, as well as his attempts to win over his true love once again. The telenovela, which has a sensitive and exciting plot, also fascinates the audience with the beautiful landscapes of Patagonia, where its first scenes were shot. Latin American Group Albavisi n has already bet on the title.

Directed by Ricardo Waddington ( Precious Pearl' and Brazil Avenue'), Boogie Oogie' is set in 1978, in the disco era, and depicts the meeting between humble and hardworking Sandra ( sis Valverde, Brazil Avenue') and rich and spoiled Vit ria (Bianca Bin, Precious Pearl'). Both of them meet because of a tragic accident and start fighting for the love of the same man. What they don't know is that their paths have crossed before, when they were switched at birth. Chile and Uruguay have already licensed this plot full of love and secrets. With a great cast, Boogie Oogie' won the audience when it was being broadcast in Brazil.
