West Palm Beach, Florida, November 1, 2016: PlayBox Technology, a global leader in broadcast playout and channel branding solutions, announces the promotion of Van Duke from US Sales Manager to US Director of Operations. Based in Florida, he is in charge of all PlayBox Technology US sales and customer support activity.
This promotion is made in recognition of Vans excellent achievements since he rejoined us at the beginning of this year, comments PlayBox Technology President Don Ash. His combination of drive, energy and industry experience have delivered outstanding results, making the USA one of our fastest growing markets. Having started his career as a broadcaster before progressing into sales engineering, Van understands the business both from the customer and supplier perspectives.

Our CloudAir channel-in-the-cloud platform allows a new television channel to be configured practically instantly. All the broadcaster then needs to do is upload and schedule the content, free at any time to work in live mode. CloudAir is ideal for primetime broadcasting or applications such as a fast-startup disaster recovery channel.
Van Duke commenced his broadcast industry career in 1978 as an engineer at WTVJ TV-6 in Miami. Five years on, he progressed into sales engineering including successful roles at Midtown Video, On-Air Systems and Video Technics. He led PlayBox Technology USA from 2006 to 2009, building the business from a start-up to multi-million dollar sales.
