Radio, music, TV, business, Sbusiso Leope, otherwise known as DJ Sbu can do it all and do it well.

Having initially cut his teeth on radio, the multi-talented star is not only a popular jock and a TV presenter but an ambitious businessman who is also keen on uplifting others by sharing his knowledge.

He recently took the Heavy Chef stage, sharing with other entrepreneurs how he made it from his hometown, Thembisa, to being one of SA's sharpest business minds.

DJ Sbu has also made his mark in the music industry, a she is one of the founding members and co-owner of TS Records and has churned out a few hits of his own.

Here are a few quick facts about one of the giants of South Africa's entertainment industry, who is well on his way to becoming a giant in business as well.

Remember Mzekezeke? A mysterious figure hit the local music scene back in 2002, keeping the nation entertained with not just his music, but with hysterics as well, mostly stemming from his unique command of the English language.

Clad in the balaclava, the kwaito star when by the name Mzekezeke, and his true identity behind the mask was a subject of great interest.

Churning out hits such as Sguqa Ngamadolo , Uban'uMzekezeke and Amakoporosh , he also had a convincing backstory, but though closely associated with DJ Sbu , the two were hardly ever seen in the same room.

Though DJ Sbu never admitted that he was indeed the man behind the mask, it was somewhat of an open secret when putting two and two together.

Fake news killed him off at some point Like many famous people, DJ Sbu has died before, thanks to some dodgy site which, last year, reported that he had lost his life while visiting the United States.

Of course, the news was initially eaten up by some members of the public, but it was soon seen for what it actually was FAKE NEWS!!!

DJ Sbu has penned two best-sellers Having risen from having nothing to becoming a successful businessman, DJ Sbu has taken it upon himself to share his journey to where he is now, as he has published two books titled The Beginning and Billionaires Under Construction The Makings of an Entrepreneur .

Both titles suggest there's still a lot more to come from him in terms of business.

He launched his own school in May 2018 He's taken sharing his knowledge even further by launching an actual institution of learning.

The Hustlers Academy was opened on 99 May 2018, with the aim to educate the youth on financial literacy and unlock their entrepreneurial potential.

A true role model The DJ is seen as someone the youth can look up to, and this was underlined in 2013 when he was voted Role Model of the Year at the Future Leaders awards.
