Ross Video Grows its EMEA Team Wednesday, May 7, 2014 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] - Today, Ross Video announced that Andy Newham has joined the company in a newly created position: EMEA Business Development Manager, Switchers and openTruck. Andy brings a wealth of broadcast sector experience with him to Ross, having previously worked for many years in sales and product management roles with Arqiva UK Ltd, Harmonic Inc., Harris Corporation and Omnibus Systems.

Ross is winning high-profile business right across the territory and I'm delighted to have secured this new role with a company that's growing so rapidly, said Newham. It's an exciting time to be joining Ross Video's dynamic EMEA team and, with the launch of the new flagship Acuity switcher, to be working with the core product line.

Ross Video has been making groundbreaking production switchers, which are the company's core products, since 1974. As well working with the switcher product line, Andy Newham will also be developing business for Ross Video's openTruck , a powerful remote-production initiative that opens the door to cost-effective network-quality production. openTruck is an innovative initiative that provides a standardized yet customizable way to design a new generation of cost-effective remote-production vehicles that deliver the highest quality video and audio content from sports and other live events.

This is yet another excellent addition to Ross Video's EMEA team, commented David Dowling, Ross Video's Director of Sales for EMEA.
