Gale force NW (65 to 75km/h) winds are expected along the coastal regions between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas, as well as in the Karoo Hoogland (Northern Cape), Breede River Valley, Central and Little Karoo (Western Cape) on Sunday.

Strong and gusty north-westerly winds are expected in places over the interior of Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces on Sunday.

UVB sunburn index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga: Fog over the Highveld in the morning, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Fog in places over the eastern escarpment at first, otherwise fine and warm.

North-West Province: Fine and cool.

Free State: Fine and cool.

Northern Cape: Morning frost over the southern high ground, otherwise fine and cool, but warm along the coast. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly to

easterly.

Western Cape: Cloudy and cool along the south-west and south coast with morning rain becoming partly cloudy, otherwise partly cloudy to fine and cool but warm along the west coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly, but moderate north-easterly to easterly along the south coast.

UVB index: Moderate.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cool in places, otherwise partly cloudy and cold, but cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly, becoming fresh north-easterly in the afternoon.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cold, but cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment from late morning. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly in the evening.

KwaZulu-Natal: Cloudy and cool but cold in the south west. Isolated showers are expected along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly to northerly north of Durban at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
