All the entries are in and now it's time to see which schools have the best choirs in the Triangle? As part of the MIX 101.5 Christmas Choir Competition presented by Lowes Foods, school choirs are competing for the opportunity to showcase their choirs on MIX 101.5 this holiday season and win up to $5,000 for their school's choir program!
The semi-finalists have been chosen and the polls are open. It's time for MIX listeners to decide who will be the #ChristmasChoirComp finalists.
The 2015 MIX 101.5 Christmas Choir Competition started on Monday morning, November 30. This week highlights Division I (Kindergarten 8th grade). Three semi-finalists will be announced each day, Monday through Wednesday; listeners will vote for a winner each day up until 9pm. The three winners will then compete on Thursday to become the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The Division I winner will be announced on Friday, December 4. Division II (grades 9 12) will take place next week in the same format. The Division II winner will be announced on Friday, December 11.

MIX 101.5 Personalities Gene & Julie Gates will play each day's semi-finalists around 7:30am, again at 8:30 and then MIX will play those finalists throughout the day.
Listeners can vote for those finalists on WRALFM.com until 9p each day.
The first, second and third place winners in each division will win a cash prize for their school. In addition, these winners will be invited to perform at the MIX 101.5 Christmas Choir Concert on Monday, December 14th at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh. The concert will begin at 6:30pm.
