LG smart TV doubles the number of active users in just one year A fleet of nearly two million televisions LG connected in 2016, the number of Spanish users of LG Smart TV grows significantly thanks to a greater variety of product, improved functionality and a more extensive range of content.

The number of active users of LG Smart TV and its applications of content has grown an average of 100% in all of them, in 2016 while outstanding connections to Netflix, Waki and Movistar +. In addition, LG TVs total Park connected present in Spanish households, nearly two million of them used Smart TV functionality to enjoy online videos on demand or games on streaming content.

This growth is a result of the commitment that the company has demonstrated in recent years by deploying a more extensive portfolio of connected TVs and with more functionalities, but also with a more complete and up-to-date content. Netflix on LG with HDR

Netflix has precisely been who, for the third consecutive year, has chosen the new models of televisions from LG with HDR as "Recommended", due to its unmatched viewing experience. TVs can be connected to a smarpthone or to a computer via USB cable to enjoy 360-degree VR content. And, finally, users can move into the scene in any direction, as well as zoom in or out with the MagicRemote wheel.

Esto supone un hito en la industria ya que ha sido el primero en recibir esta certificaci n en la categor a de Smart TV. Adem s, y tambi n recientemente, LG webOS 3.5 ha sido certificado por Common Criteria (CC) por su software de protecci n de la privacidad Application Security Solution Version 1.0. Con esta certificaci n internacional, LG contin a demostrando que su sistema de Smart TV es una de las m s seguras del mercado.
