ENDEMOL BEYOND MARKS ANNIVERSARY WITH LAUNCH OF FIRST LATIN AMERICAN HUB IN BRAZIL Endemol, a world leader in multiplatform entertainment, today announced a new appointment to lead the first Latin American hub for the company's global premium channel network (PCN), Endemol Beyond. Vanessa Oliveira, former Head of Marketing at Brazil's largest multi-channel network ParaMaker, has been brought in as Manager of Endemol Beyond Brazil. Under Oliveiras leadership, the new operation will build a network of Endemol owned and operated digital video channels across multiple genres, which will be targeted at regional audiences. Her remit will include investing in high end original productions, engaging leading talent and delivering premium branded content for advertising partners.
Vanessa will be based at the company's offices in S o Paulo and will report to Marcello Le o Braga, who was recently appointed as General Manager of Endemol Brazil; whilst working closely with Georg Ramme, Managing Director, Endemol Beyond International.
During her 14 year career Oliveira has held numerous key positions within digital media organisations, including multi-channel networks and tech start-ups. In her most recent role at Maker Studios-owned ParaMaker, her responsibilities included building relationships with market leading brands such as Google, Ubisoft, Pantene and O2, helping the company's portfolio of over 3,500 channels to generate more than 250 million monthly views.
Oliveira was previously co-founder of Latin America's first ever crowdfunding platform Movere.me, which went on to be acquired by Argentinian start-up Idea.me in 2012. Her other former roles have included product management at Rio-based digital venture M4U, with clients including TV Globo, GloboSat and Abril Digital.
Vanessa's extensive experience in digital video, marketing and brand relationships makes her ideally suited to lead this new operation, said Marcello Le o Braga, General Manager of Endemol Brazil. We have ambitious plans to build a diverse and far reaching network of premium channels with outstanding content, which will attract big regional fan bases and deliver an ideal platform for leading brands.
This new hub will establish a strong footing for Endemol Beyond in Latin America; a key market for digital video with significant opportunities for growth and innovation, said Georg Ramme, Managing Director, Endemol Beyond International. This further reinforces our global presence, which now includes seven operations covering the major territories around the world.

This latest launch follows a period of rapid growth for Endemol Beyond, which having launched in November 2013, now counts more than 350 million monthly views and has struck international partnerships with a host of star talent for original digital video content and channels.
This has recently included U.S. A-listers such as Pitbull and Emmy Award winner Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos; Desperate Housewives); as well as YouTube superstars such as international gamer KSI (over 1.28 billion views; over 7.3 million subscribers); digital fashion and beauty pioneer Michelle Phan (over 1 billion views; over 7.1 million subscribers); Vine comedian Brittany Furlan (7.6 million followers) and young U.S. rap sensation MattyB (over one billion views; 2.8 million subscribers).
Endemol Beyond is the first premium channel network with hubs in the U.S., UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain; and is continuing to expand into more regions including Asia and Central and Eastern Europe. The PCN's growing portfolio of roughly 300 digital video channels features premium original content across verticals including entertainment, celebrity, film, music, games, pop culture, reality and factual.
