Cisco to Present First Software-Based Mobile Network at 5G Forum Virtual Rakuten despliega con Cisco una red pionera con automatizaci n de principio a fin y virtualizaci n de funciones en nube nativa, convirti ndose en un proveedor m vil de 5G con un nivel de disrupci n nico en la industria.
La multinacional norteamericana Cisco aprovechar el 5GForum Virtual para presentar a la sociedad tecnol gica su gran proyecto de 5G con Rakuten en Jap n, que ten a previsto presentar en el Mobile World Congress de Barcelona.
Jos Angel L pez Mayoralas, Head of Solutions Validation Services for Cisco EMEAR & APJC, explicar a los participantes en el 5G Forum Virtual, c mo el l der de e-commerce en Jap n, en colaboraci n con Cisco, ha dise ado esta red pionera con automatizaci n de principio a fin y virtualizaci n de funciones en nube nativa, convirti ndose en un proveedor m vil de 5G con un nivel de disrupci n nico en la industria.
Cuando hablamos de 5G, en ocasiones nos olvidamos de que lo m s importante ocurre detr s de la antena , destaca el responsable de Cisco.
La arquitectura utilizada en Rakuten, adem s de permitir una mega conectividad ultra-r pida, tendr latencias extremadamente bajas, creando as una plataforma para acelerar la adopci n del IoT industrial, servicios de tele-medicina, veh culos conectados, aplicaci n de inteligencia artificial y e-gaming , a ade.
Esta visi n, junto con la arquitectura implementada por Cisco, permite operar una red 5G con unos costes extremadamente bajos, acelerando la innovaci n y dando respuestas a las demandas de mercado de manera veloz y competitiva.
Con m s de 100 proyectos 5G en marcha a escala global, Cisco ofrece de forma nica en el mercado una aproximaci n Cloud-to-Client para las redes 5G. En Espa a, est n trabajando en importantes proyectos 5G en los mbitos de tele-asistencia, agricultura y atenci n a mayores.
