Pavlin Rahnev, PlayBox Neo founder and CEO, outlines a successful year
PlayBox Neo Maintains Steady Global Growth Celebrating 25 Years of Media Excellence and Unveiling Technical Enhancements across the Product Line
As we step into 2025, we reflect on our 25th anniversary and the accomplishments of the past year. Not only have we had a record year with increased revenue growth, but we have also made a considerable contribution to the industry's success with innovations that support over 20,000 TV and branding channels in over 120 countries.
PlayBox Neo is at the forefront of broadcast media playout, streaming and channel branding, and we continue to demonstrate world-leading market strength through our range of smart media playout solutions - Media Gateway, AirBox Neo, Capture Suite, Channel-in-a-Box and Cloud2TV - which feature significant technological upgrades for 2025.
Our major sales over the year reflect the variety of organisations around the world - spanning across multiple markets in broadcast, production, post, education and corporate that expect reliable and versatile solutions. Strategic wins that have landed over the year across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific include the likes of PSI Broadcasting in Thailand; Miami's Island TV; NBC affiliate WJFV in the US; Roberts Communications Network; public affairs network TVW; News12 Long Island; Akili Kids! youth network in Kenya; Nilesat in Egypt; Latvian free-to-air broadcaster Vidzemes TV; DDish direct-to-home satellite television network; Florida Government TV Station Orange TV; Stenna Group Brazil for streaming; among many others.
The range of organisations in our sales this year is a clear barometer that the media industry is still thriving and industrious as it has always been. Our success is down to the fact that we listen carefully to customers and rely on an excellent network of partners around the world. We form strong bonds to ensure that customers are provided with support and the relevant solutions that make their businesses operate at maximum efficiency with technology that continues to evolve, transform and adapt for their specific requirements.
Our team continues to demonstrate industry-leading market strength by platforming PlayBox Neo's key innovations at major industry events. Exhibitions and tradeshows play a vital role engaging with local partners and building new relationships, it is a dynamic environment where we shine a spotlight on solving the challenges customers face.
Following a record-breaking year, PlayBox Neo once again achieved high visibility across APAC and EMEA regions including Europe and the Americas, further strengthening our ties by exhibiting from strategically located stands at key industry shows such as Dubai's CABSAT, Singapore-based Broadcast Asia, NAB Show in Las Vegas, NAB NY 2024, SET expo 2024, IBC2024, Thailand Broadcast Solution Show, ASBU TV & Radio Convention, FOMEX 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and many others where our PlayBox Neo partners showcased the complete suite of products demonstrating how they control ingest, transmission, scheduling through to playout, to deliver efficient and scalable workflows to vast global audiences.
Another crucial factor that adds to our success is that we invest in resources to ensure customers are kept up to date by ongoing technical advancements and innovations, which brings enormous benefits to customers. Our committed development teams work non-stop at delivering stunning feature enhancements to further boost performance.
PlayBox Neo s latest technology upgrades focus on 4K capabilities across its systems. The AirBox Neo playout system now offers enhanced graphics integration with Graphic Mixer, supporting external NDI sources. TitleBox Neo introduces improved image loading and a new Audio object, while Media Gateway adds DeckLink IP/SDI cards, achieving SMPTE2110 compatibility and NDI 6 support.
We are in a very strong position to leverage our success achieved in 2024 to deliver yet another highly successful year in 2025, and to continue supporting existing and new customers with our solutions. Our customers always come first, and we respect the fact that creative content remains the priority. Looking ahead to 2025, we see main focus points across the entire media industry as dependability, productivity and agility to help free up creative professionals to concentrate on doing what they do best - being creative.
