Married women will be eligible to compete for the title for the first time this year, which is one of the most significant modifications to the regulations governing admission criteria for Miss South Africa in 2023.

The hunt for the talented lady who will follow in the footsteps of the reigning Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, represent her nation on a global platform and emerge as one of South Africa's most recognisable faces and ambassadors, is currently open worldwide.

Married? married and have kids? Got married and engaged? Divorced? Any contestant can now compete for the Miss South Africa crown in 2023, regardless of their marital status.

The Miss South Africa Organisation has altered the regulations to permit participation in the pageant by all women, whether they are straight, transgender, gay, big, little, short, tall, married, or have children or not.

In order to keep the Miss South Africa Organisation contemporary with the times and to guarantee that the competition remains relevant, current, and exciting, it has undergone several iterations.

TV series Crown Chasers is presenting the Miss South Africa pageant This year, a ground-breaking seven-part TV series has also been added.

The intriguing reality programme Crown Chasers presents the Miss South Africa pageant in a way that has never been seen before.

In the seven 60-minute episodes, contestants for the title will be put in real-world Miss South Africa scenarios with a variety of obstacles to overcome based on the four Miss South Africa pillars of duty, championship, empowerment, and beauty.

All of the finalists will relocate to the Miss South Africa HQ, where they will be given challenges designed to gauge how well they can understand these four pillars.

They'll be expected to come up with creative methods to promote tourism, express support for female-owned enterprises, or highlight facets of their culture or history, putting their entrepreneurial and business talents to the test.

A judging panel will choose a challenge winner each week.

The live pageant finale, where the winner will be announced, will mark the series' conclusion.

The Miss South Africa Organisation is renowned across the world for being a pageant disruptor, questioning established norms, consistently moving the goalposts, and enhancing the competition's diversity and inclusivity.

According to Miss South Africa's organisation's CEO, Stephanie Weil:

This year we have pushed more boundaries than ever before and we are delighted to welcome all women who are ready to step onto our leadership platform and be the next ambassador for South Africa.

We, as women, are so many things; we can be business owners, leaders, innovators, influencers, mothers, daughters, philanthropists, role models, ambassadors and queens all at the same time. Showcasing the multi-diverse nature of all of this will be at the core of the competition. Miss South Africa is no longer just a one-night pageant - viewers are really going to get to know the finalists during the television show.

The Miss South Africa Organisation continues to make the application procedure as simple as possible, so contestants don't need to download any forms or go to any regional auditions.

On Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, contestants must submit an introductory video with the hashtag #MissSA2023 and the hashtags Crown Chasers and Miss South Africa.

Anyone interested in entering need only visit www.misssa.co.za or the Miss SA App's ENTER NOW page, answer a few questions, and upload two images-one of their head and shoulders and another of their entire body-and a link to their entry video.
