Dublin, Ireland, July 19, 2016: Leader Electronics Europe announces a further expansion of its sales and support representation with the appointment of D P Multimedia Products Ltd as channel partner for Ireland. This follows the recent appointment of Big Pic Media Limited, Boxer Systems Limited and Thameside as UK channel partners.
D P Multimedia is one of the most dynamic sales companies in the broadcast business, says Leaders European Regional Development Manager Kevin Salvidge. With over a quarter century of experience, it is perhaps best known for the annual Broadcast Video Production Show which the D P team has organised and developed over the past seven years. D P has an excellent understanding of the media industry at its widest and sustains an excellent reputation both in its sales and rental activity.
Leader lives fully up to its name as a company which develops test equipment that can be used easily by creative programme-makers and editors while at the same time providing all the facilities demanded by their technical colleagues, responds D P Multimedia founder and Managing Director Colm Egan.
Leader is at the forefront in developing portable all-in-one test instruments such as the LV5490 which can handle signals of practically any standard from standard definition up to 4K UHD plus analogue, digital and embedded audio.
Leader is also already offering capabilities relevant to the gradually increasing use of IP content delivery. None of our customers has yet requested 8K measurement facilities but I have no doubt Leader will rise to that challenge well before the market starts to demand it, and in a form that even a trainee cameraman can understand.
D P Multimedia Products Ltd (www.camerakit.ie) supplies equipment for sale or hire to the broadcast, postproduction, education, professional video, audio and corporate sectors throughout Ireland, UK and Europe . Established in 1990, its has become Ireland's leading supplier of equipment from leading broadcast manufacturers. The company operates from a purpose built 350 square metre showroom and sales office in Terenure Village, Dublin, alongside a hire department and warehouse facilities. The hire department, established in 2010 has grown steadily and is now one of the busiest in the country.
