Piksel has partnered with JungoTV to launch a new international content OTT service, powered by Piksel Digital Showcase. The service will deliver language-specific video content to expatriate and diaspora communities around the globe.
Dr Mehmet Oz, television personality, surgeon, media entrepreneur and co-founder of JungoTV, said: In launching The Dr Oz Show around the globe, it was apparent to me that the market for international content was growing rapidly. The backbone of JungoTV's OTT video service, Piksel Digital Showcase,is a cloud-based platform that delivers more content to more devices more quickly. Taking an OTT approach, Piksel Digital Showcase provides businesses like JungoTV with the stability, reliability, quality, and multiscreen device offerings that consumers expect from an online video offering.

JungoTV's launch in autumn 2016 will make the new international content OTT service available throughout the USA and Canada with over 30,000 hours of premium on-demand programming targeting in-language communities of Arabic, Chinese, Filipino, Greek, Iranian, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese speakers. It will be available on mobile platforms including iOS and Android, web, and most connected devices.
