Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, has announced it has completed a customer survey to find out how they use X2Pro in order to make product enhancements in the future. Marquis collaborated with FCPX Training from LarryJordan.biz, Lumberjack System, Inc, XMiL Workflow Tools, Color Grading Central and Industrial Revolution in order to put the survey together and to gained feedback from more than 1000 customers.
Version 2.2 of X2Pro, our cutting edge conversion application for delivering Final Cut Pro X projects to Avid Pro Tools for audio finishing, became available in the Spring, confirms Simon Fearn, product manager, Marquis Broadcast. X2Pro uses Marquis' Media Highway, the core technology employed by Marquis' media integration products to integrate Final Cut Pro X into professional audio workflows, delivering seamless integration between the two applications. We are a constantly working to enhance and improve the solution and so the customer feedback from our survey will be invaluable to help us achieve the right functionality to help editors in their daily work.
For example, the survey revealed that almost three quarters of X2Pro users were using the solution for corporate, documentary or scripting work which is helpful for us to understand the types of challenges editors are facing, continues Fearn. This and the other survey findings will now help us further develop our future product roadmap.
The latest version of X2Pro which now supports OS X 10.9 Marvericks and FCP X 10.1 will be on show at IBC on booth 2.A58.
