Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has announced that actor Sdumo Mtshali has returned to The Estate as Muzi Phakathwayo after playing Mthokozisi in season two of SABC1's comedy Makoti.

INSIDE SDUMO MTSHALI'S RETURN The Estate's leading actor Sdumo Mtshali took a break at the end of season two when his character Muzi Phakathwayo got killed.

Mphela wrote: Sdumo Mtshali returns to The Estate. Mtshali left the show in season 2 after the death of his character Muzi Phakathwayo. Well, looks like Muzi is coming back and so too is the actor to reprise the role.

TVSA also revealed that Mtshali isn't credited in season three's cast list in the show's press release and that the show introduced a new family, the Nobengelas.

The new family is played by Generations Dumisani Mbebe, Isono's Anga Makubalo, The Wife's Lerato Mvelase, and more.

S3's channel head Pat van Heerden revealed to Channel 24:

The Estate is key to the incremental building of the S3 schedule with well-produced relevant local drama. The new season does not hold back as we state into the dramatic issues that plague the nation.
