The third season of Emily in Paris officially released on Netflix on Wednesday 21 December. Here's what we thought of the comedy-drama.

EMILY IN PARIS' SEASON THREE IS CHAOTIC The third season of Emily in Paris is very much the story of my life for a woman in her twenties. It is her career and building a life for herself up against prioritising a relationship and building a life with her significant other.

The ambitious Emily (played by Lily Collins) wants to stay in Paris to continue her work as a marketing executive and lowkey continue to build her Instagram following, by sharing her experiences in the city of love - but will she have to fly back to Chicago?

Emily faces more challenges this season than she ever has before. This goes for both her career and romantic life, causing far too much chaos to process. However, she keeps viewers at the edge of their seats, trying to figure out what she will do next.

One year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie - at work and in her romantic life, reads the synopsis of the series.

And what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides, reads the synopsis of the series.

Without revealing any spoilers, the season ends with a major bombshell which viewers are not likely to see coming considering the events that take place during the series.

EMILY IS NO LONGER THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE One noteworthy aspect of this series is that each of the main cast members and some supporting characters have their own storylines this season. While previous seasons focused mainly on Emily, her career and her love life, this season allows everyone's personality to shine.

Emily's best friend Mindy Chen (played by Ashley Park) explores her own passions, career and a complicated love life. While Sylvie, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, also explores her own career moves and relationships.

There's also a big bombshell from one of the other cast members love life which is likely to keep you glue to the screen for hours trying to figure out how it ends!

After all that being said, Emily in Paris season three deserves four of five stars. The cliffhanger at the end of the season leaves me anticipating what happens in the future and fourth season! The series scored a 61% on Rotten Tomatoes. Take a look at the trailer below.
