Animation, visual effects and video games meet in animayos most global and technohumanist edition En la primera rueda de prensa virtual con avatares personalizados del mundo, la organizaci n de Animayo, Festival Internacional de Animaci n, Efectos visuales y Videojuegos, avanza los detalles de su 16 que se inicia el pr ximo 5 de mayo.
the Festival Internacional de Animaci n, Efectos visuales y Videojuegos, nico en Espa a designado Festival Calificador por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematogr ficas de Hollywood para los Premios Oscar en la categor a de cortometrajes animaci n, contar con creadores como Bill Plympton o con la participaci n de ponentes que trabajan para productoras y estudios como Disney, DreamWorks, Warner, LucasFilm, Universal o Henson.
Ataviados con sus respectivos avatares y en tiempo real, adem s de Dami n Perea, director y productor de Animayo, participaron en esta primera rueda de prensa del mundo de estas caracter sticas, pol ticos representantes de instituciones de la Comunidad Aut noma de Canarias, numerosos medios de comunicaci n e invitados de entre los 70 ponentes de la edici n.
Tras la bienvenida de Dami n Perea, cineasta Miembro de la European Film Academy of Cinematography (EFA) y Embajador de los European Animation mile Awards, Teodoro Claret Sosa, Consejero de Gobierno de Presidencia del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, manifest que era un placer poder estar en la presentaci n de un evento tan importante para la isla de Gran Canaria y para su Cabildo , un festival con un car cter innovador que le ha permitido adaptarse a las actuales circunstancias en vez de flaquear , a adiendo que Animayo es una cita consolidada. Son 16 a os donde Gran Canaria aspira a ser un referente nacional y tambi n internacional. El fin ltimo del plan Espa a Digital 2025 del Gobierno de Espa a otorga un papel central a este sector en la digitilizaci n y en la generaci n de empleo de futuro .
Encarnaci n Galv n, Concejala del rea de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, por su parte, se alaba: lo del a o pasado fue espectacular. Un a o en el que todos d bamos por perdida la posibilidad de que este encuentro creativo y did ctico pudiera celebrarse, resulta que se reinventa y lo hace con un mayor alcance de participaciones y ponentes .
Adem s, Galv n puso en valor que Animayo haya logrado posicionar la ciudad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria en el panorama internacional como un espacio de referencia, no solo en las tecnolog as, sino tambi n en la creatividad digital y en los formatos audiovisuales. En su turno de palabra, Juan M rquez, Viceconsejero de Cultura y Patrimonio Cultural del Gobierno de Canarias, hac a referencia a c mo esta simp tica e inusual rueda de prensa daba cuenta de la capacidad creativa e innovadora de Animayo agradeciendo el trabajo que este festival realiza por situar a Canarias en ese mapa del desarrollo de la industria de la animaci n , agregando que Canarias fue la primera Comunidad Aut noma que introdujo incentivos fiscales y que adem s hac a una referencia espec fica a la animacion. Despu s, en la pen nsula realizaron una normativa, yo creo que inspirada en la nuestra, lo cual nos obliga a trabajar para mantener esa ventaja y no perder competitividad .
For its part, Fernando Fern ndez Morales, Director General de la Fundaci n la Caja de Canarias, se congratulaba de que el espacio CICCA cumpliera 10 a os ya como sede oficial y principal de Animayo (en su fase presencial), declarando que por fin podemos volver a acoger en nuestra casa a esa bulliciosa marea de j venes y no tan j venes. Poder volver a la presencialidad y el contacto f sico que ltimamente echamos tanto de menos y hacerlo con todas las garant as sanitarias para que sea posible con un evento que impulsa el emprendimiento de los artistas y promueve la innovaci n dentro del sector audiovisual fomentando la educaci n y la formaci n audiovisual generando un crecimiento sostenible.
Una ambiciosa edici n A continuaci n, volvi a tomar la palabra el director y productor del festival, Dami n Perea para desvelar la extensa, vanguardista y ambiciosa programaci n de esta 16 Cumbre Internacional Animayo. Ya en su bienvenida apuntaba que el a o pasado fuimos el primer festival de animaci n, efectos visuales y videojuegos del mundo realizado en plataforma 100% virtual con avatares. Este era el espacio, por eso quer amos hacer la presentaci n aqu ( ). Fue una edici n superinteresante y conseguimos el hito de 40.000 participantes en el mundo. Much simo en comparaci n con anteriores ediciones en las que hab amos tenido alrededor de 15.000 .
Y es que, efectivamente, a la profunda crisis sufrida en los primeros compases de la pandemia mundial del Covid-19, cuando la pr ctica totalidad de la programaci n cultural qued suspendida por el confinamiento decretado por el gobierno, Animayo, que siempre se ha caracterizado por ser un festival vanguardista, respondi con la cultura audiovisual m s puntera como recurso obteniendo un xito arrollador como tambi n atestiguaron medios internacionales especializados, l ase Variety o Golden Globes.
Desvelando la programaci n de la 16 edici n, la m s global y tecnohumanista, Perea, dio a conocer los contenidos principales de una edici n que, dividida primeramente en tres fases, llegar hasta el mes de octubre con m s acciones. Tras la fase presencial que se celebrar en la ciudad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, (Gran Canaria, Espa a), desde el d a 5 hasta el 8 de mayo, ambos inclusive, llegar la fase virtual.
No cabe duda, el virtual lleg para quedarse en Animayo y volver a posicionar la isla de Gran Canaria como referente global de la industria audiovisual.
